Invisible form

Invisible form is a project that visualizes invisible phenomena and ideas through graphic design techniques. Narratives created through images rather than words offer us intuitive ways of perceiving and understanding the world. Although invisible form focuses on small and universal perspectives, much like Japanese haiku, these perspectives reveal the dynamic and ever-shifting nature of the world we live in.

Energy

Just as a human life begins, grows, and eventually comes to an end, the energy of life is born, reaches its peak, gradually declines, and disappears. In a similar way, the ripples that appear and disappear when a stone is thrown into water, or the transition from morning to day and night, may also be understood as manifestations of the same cycle of energy.

This book expresses that cycle through simple forms and colors. The energy that is born moves forward with force, vibrates dynamically, bursts, and eventually fades away. Yet the final page returns to the first, allowing the energy to be reborn and continue in an endless cycle.

Production

The book is saddle-stitched, allowing the pages to open fully and the images to unfold across wide spreads. A thicker paper stock was chosen to help the pages lie flat when opened. The cover is made from heavyweight semi-transparent tracing paper, printed with black and silver ink. The inside pages are printed in a minimal two-color palette of gold and yellow, creating a warm and luminous atmosphere.

Printed and bound by hand in our studio.
